About

No ALT tag specifiedLondon Scottish has a very long tradition of offering rugby at all levels and is very proud of the senior teams that play outside of the professional team.

The amateur 1st (Highlanders) and 2nd (Claymores) teams are regular training teams with the 3rd team (The Kilts) also attending senior squad training more often than not.

The Extra B's (4th team) is our captain's team and play in the Middlesex Merit Table. Outside of these teams the club has a Legends team and a Vets team that play a few fun and social games over the season.

Whether you are an ex-international, an aspiring young player or someone who likes to don the boots once a month for a throw around then we have the set up for you to enjoy.

The senior section is a very proud part of London Scottish and loves the social element that amateur brings to the game.

Fill in the Play for London Scottish form and the appropriate person will get back to you soon.

In the 2014/15 season the club will be playing in the following leagues:

Shield 1:

The Highlanders will take up the challenge and move from Shield 2 to the very competitive Shield 1 Division that sees the club again playing against Championship and National 1 clubs second XVs.

Shield 3:

The Claymores will join the Shield competitions from MMT1 with the challenge to establish themselves and push to play in Shield 2 in the future

MMT2:

The Kilts have been entered into the Middlesex Merit Table Division 2 with the aim to play in MMT1 in the future that allows for a good level of rugby and not much travel distance to away games.

MMT3:

The Extra B's played in the MMT2 last season but is more content to play in MMT3 where they can be very competitive and have a good social environment.

Social:

The Vets and Legends play occasional social games through each season.

Academy:

The senior academy is a performance driven squad between senior and pro rugby to help young talented players develop through a professionally managed setup. The squad plays as the Rampant Lions team in top academy fixtures through the season and for further development play senior rugby at the club as well.
