Joe came to London Scottish ahead of the 2019/20 season from Welsh Principality Premiership side Merthyr Rugby.
Joe is a former U20 Wales prop and spent three seasons with PRO14 side Ospreys, playing over 35 games for the region before moving to Worcester in 2014.
Joe was part of the Warriors side that gained immediate promotion back to the Premiership, making 24 appearances while in the Championship and a further seven once they had returned to the top flight.
In 2016, Joe linked up with his former Cardiff Blues’ coach Justin Burnell at Rotherham Titans for a season before moving to Merthyr for two years, winning the league on both occasions.
Standing at 6ft 1inch and weighing a colossal 138kg, Joe has a much-feared reputation as a dominant, destructive set piece technician and because of this has a dual role as scrum coach alongside his playing.
Joe picked up a long-term shoulder injury towards the end of the 2021/22 season. Working hard on his recovery the Club hopes he hits the ground running when he returns to the RAG.
