London Scottish is delighted to confirm the renewal of our sponsorship agreement with Cairnhill Structures, specialist fabricators to the nuclear, rail, oil & gas, power generation, civil infrastructure and construction industries.
The Scottish company will appear on the front collarbone of the brand new 2017/18 season playing kits, and will become a more visible part of the match day experience at the Athletic Ground.
The steel solution company attended a number of fixtures during the 16/17 campaign, including presenting the man-of-the-match award after the memorable victory against Ealing Trailfinders which proved to be one of the highlights of the year. They also sponsored the 2016 St Andrews Day lunch at the Savoy, which saw the likes of Jamie Murray OBE and Dame Katherine Grainger recognised for their achievements in Scottish sport.
Cairnhill Group Managing Director Neil Watson welcomed the extension with the Scots.

The new management team have some fresh ideas and I’m delighted that they are keen to keep the tradition of London Scottish at the forefront of everything they do.”

We want to encourage kids of all ages to come and enjoy the atmosphere and the match day experience. It’s a community club with a great warmth to it and we would like to see the club flourish at all age groups. With some additional effort like this you always hope it will improve the strength and depth of our squads at senior levels. Who knows, we may even uncover a young superstar down here this season.”

They have also produced huge six-meter square steel doors for the Dungeness Nuclear power station, large Pipework for Heysham nuclear plant, and complex steelwork for Sellafield. Their bridge repair contract in Folkestone Kent shows their diversity in the type of projects they can deliver and also the broad range of locations they work within the UK.
The Watson Towers Group, and Cairnhill Structures employ over 130 people within the UK. The group has turnover of over £12m a year and is 230th in Business Insider's SME300, which lists Scottish headquartered companies that are in profit with a turnover of £8m to £20m.
