A group of first team players assembled at the Kew Fete as they met with supporters and demonstrated some of the components of being professionals.

The club has a focus on re-engaging with the local communities, and with plenty of children joining in on the training session it was a successful day. 

The afternoon began with a warm-up and showing supporters how they usually prepare for matches and training. A whole host of kids were enjoying being part of it and showed their pace when sidestepping the professionals to the try-line! 

The Scots then took part in the Tug of War competition, and three wins from three saw them secure the title despite a very physical battle in the final.

Second-row Dom McGeekie said the players enjoyed meeting some supporters and participating in the Fete. 

“Any chance we get to engage with the communities is great, it was good to put some smiles on faces and the players all really enjoyed themselves.”
