Jamie Stevenson’s long-range try against Jersey Reds has been officially voted as the best try from the 2016/17 Greene King IPA Championship season.
The try, which had the whole of the Athletic Ground on their feet, started in their own 22 with a grubber kick from Robbie Fergusson. The centre gathered his kick and passed inside to Jason Harries, who offload to new signing Ross Neal. He then stepped his defender and passed to Stevenson who had the pace to race clear from just inside the 22.
A great team score, and one that will live long in the memory of those in attendance!
