London Scottish have secured the signings of Jacob Atkins from London Irish and Oli Curry from Ealing Trailfinders until the end of the season.
Jacob has joined from Aviva Premiership side London Irish on dual registration and will provide some much needed cover at fly half after Jake Sharp suffered a hamstring injury against Ealing Trailfinders and Owain Davies is away with the Army.
Atkins who has previously represented Rosslyn Park in National One and came through the London Irish AASE programme, will start for the Scots this weekend at fly half as they take on Doncaster Knights.
Atkins is the second player to be dual registered with Scottish after Tom Parton joined earlier in the season. Tom is currently away with the England Under 20 squad as they take part in the U20 6 Nations Championship.
Second Row Oli Curry joins Scottish on loan from local rivals Ealing Trailfinders. Curry was a vital addition for Director of Rugby Dave Morris after his remaining, solitary fit second row, Tjiuee Uanivi broke his cheekbone. Curry will also start this weekend against Doncaster. Curry did not feature in the Trailfinders 25-3 win over Scottish two weekends ago.
Second rower Curry, who also used to be part of the London Irish academy system, has had previous Championship experience with Rotherham Titans last season when he made nineteen appearances for the South Yorkshire outfit.
