Uanivi Returns for bottom of the table clash

Second rower and new re-signing for the 2018/19 season Tjiuee Uanivi returns to the starting side this weekend after recovering from a broken cheekbone, suffered in January, to play Rotherham Titans.

Rotherham are the only side who sit below the Scots in the Greene King IPA Championship table after a disappointing season for both sides. The last time the two sides met at Clifton Lane, Scottish pulled off a miraculous victory with the final play of the game.

Scottish will be looking to get their first win since January and will be hoping they can do so with their final home game of the season at The Athletic Ground.

Dave Morris has made six changes to the starting XV ahead of this weekend, including two changes to the front row. American International Dino Waldren comes in for Ewan McQuillin and Isaac Miller will start at Hooker. Derrick Appiah remains at Looseheadhead.

Ed Milne will start in the second row after having a strong performance from the bench against Cornish Pirates. Milne will partner the returning Uanivi in the engine room. The back row remains unchanged from the Pirates game with Joe Atkinson at six, Chris Walker on the openside and Captain Danny Kenny at number eight.

Alex Walker and Jake Sharp start at 9 & 10 respectively with Ben Mosses and Ross Neal outside them in the centres. Charlie Ingall is named on the left wing, Matt Williams starts on the right and Joe Luca Smith is named at Full Back.

Oli Curry, Matt Eliet and Jacob Atkins are all reinstated on the bench for this weekend’s game.
