Utility back Matt Davidson has been named in the Scotland Under 20 squad for the 2019 U20 Six Nations.
Davidson has made five appearances for the Scots so far this season and may have added more appearances to his tally if he had not picked up a hand injury away to Jersey in the Championship Cup in November. He made a try-scoring return to action from the bench against Hartpury College at the RAG earlier this month and featured last weekend in the tight loss against Ealing Trailfinders.
The former Ayr player is comfortable all across the backline but has been used predominantly at London Scottish as a full back.
Davidson joined the club this summer, coming down from BT Premiership side Ayr, and has been training and playing with the Scots in a full time environment as part of the Professional Entry Programme.
This year Scotland Under 20s will play their home games against Italy, Ireland and Wales. They will kick off the tournament at home to Italy next Friday at Netherdale, Galashields.
