Outstanding back rower Matt Eliet has signed a contract extension with the Scots for the 2019/20 season.
Eliet has been one of the best players for Scottish this season, consistently standing out week in, week out.
The former Exeter University graduate who arrived at the Scots at the beginning of last season on trial, becomes the third player to commit ahead of next season joining Lewis Wynne and James Malcolm.
After missing the beginning of the season with a foot injury, picked up on tour in Scotland, Eliet has been a near ever-present in the Scottish back row. A versatile player, he has been selected all across the back row this season, making 13 appearances and scoring four tries.
Eliet is happy to be re-signing with the exiles and is looking forward to his third season with the Scots.
“I am really pleased to re-sign. I have had a great couple of years and I’m enjoying my rugby greatly at London Scottish.”
Director of Rugby Dave Morris is thrilled to have added another of this season’s top performers to next year’s squad.
