Dom McGeekie was thrilled to be awarded the man of the match Glengoyne for his performance in the British and Irish Cup match against Cardiff.

The second-row however has used it as an incentive to gain more regular first-team opportunities with four matches remaining of the 2016/17 season.

“It was great to get back in the side as I've been working hard in my first season here. Hopefully for the last few games I can get myself more involved and finish on a high note.”
