London Scottish have made five changes to their starting line-up for this weekend’s trip to Penzance to face Cornish Pirates.
The Scots currently sit fifth in the table just a point ahead of the Pirates heading in to this fixture, as both sides chase a top-four spot in the Greene King IPA Championship.
Grant Shiells returns to the front-row alongside David Cherry and Kan Koroi, with captain Rory Bartle joined by Wilhelm van Der Sluys in the second-row.
Ally Miller has recovered and starts as blindside flanker for his first match since mid December, with Danny Kenny and Ifereimi Boladau making up the rest of the pack.
Ed Hoadley starts at scrum-half with Tom Galbraith at fly-half, and dual registered London Irish centre Ross Neal partners Robbie Fergusson in the midfield.
Jason Harries, Alec Coombes and Peter Lydon start in an unchanged back-three from last weekend.
Tom Lindsay, Jonny Harris and Phil Cringle offer a front-row alternative, with Dom McGeekie and Joe Atkinson covering the rest of the forwards.
Jamie Stevenson and Ben Rath compete the match day squad for the visit to Mennaye Field against the in-form Pirates who have won their last four matches in all competitions.
Hooker David Cherry is aware of the challenge ahead of the Scots this weekend with the congested mid-table area of the Championship.
“Pirates is always a hard place to go but we can look back at the Yorkshire match and head there with confidence and look to put in another strong display.”
