Dave Cherry says that the Scots can take a number of positives from the performance against Yorkshire Carnegie as they prepare for next weekend’s crucial match up with Cornish Pirates.
The Scottish hooker secured his second man of the match award of the season but was on the losing side as the Scots were beaten 14-26 at the Athletic Ground by a clinical Leeds outfit.
However Cherry insisted that there were some good moments which they can build on ahead of the trip to Penzance.
“It was disappointing to miss out on that bonus point at the end but we have no excuses and will look to put it right this week in training.”
He added: “Pirates is always a hard place to go but we can look back at the Yorkshire match and head there with confidence.”
