Head Coach Peter Richards said his side have no time to regret, with the return fixture against Jersey just five days away.
The Scots were beaten 22-13 by the Channel Islanders at the Athletic Ground, and now travel to St Peter's on Friday knowing that they will need a win to reignite their British and Irish Cup campaign.
“We'd built some decent momentum recently but in this competition anyone can beat anyone and on the day the best team can win. It's a good lesson for a young team and they have to work out how to play when they are the favourites.” Said Richards.
He added: “It makes next week very interesting. We've not lost hope but we know what we have to do in the remaining matches and we'll put all of our efforts in to redeeming that performance on Friday.”
