London Scottish have made three changes to their starting line up for the visit of Ealing Trailfinders tomorrow night under the Athletic Ground floodlights.
The Scots got back to winning ways last weekend with a fine 13-10 victory over Bedford Blues giving Head Coach Peter Richards no reason to make wholesale changes for the local derby against the third-placed Trailfinders.
Grant Shiells and David Cherry start in the front-row alongside Ewan McQuillin who returns to the starting side. Rory Bartle and Neale Patrick remain in the second-row, with an unchanged back-row of Ally Miller, Danny Kenny and Ifereimi Boladau.
Ed Hoadley comes in at scrum-half, with Harry Sheppard continuing at fly-half. Patrick Kelly returns to inside centre after featuring for Glasgow Warriors last weekend against the Ospreys, alongside Robbie Fergusson at outside centre. Jason Harries and Alec Coombes occupy the wings, with Peter Lydon at full-back.
Jonny Harris, George Turner and Dan Koroi offer a front-row alternative, with Callum Hunter Hill and Joe Atkinson covering the rest of the pack.
Craig Holland adopts a new position providing scrum-half back-up, with Tom Galbraith completing the match day squad.
Lydon, who kicked a late penalty to secure the win last weekend is expecting a tough battle in the fourth London derby of the season.
“In the three local home matches we've let the fans down so we'll be looking to build on the win over Bedford and get a victory. Anyone can beat anyone in this league and if we can improve our consistency we'll start climbing the table so that needs to start on Friday.”
He added: “It's the last league match before we're back to the British and Irish Cup so it's crucial to end this block of league matches positively.”
