Alec Coombes has made a huge impact for the Scots after moving in to the centre in the last two British and Irish Cup matches.
The Scot, who has played most of his rugby on the wing, scored twice in the win over Ulster 'A' last Saturday, and this season has an impressive record of three tries in six appearances so far.
“I'm enjoying playing in the centre as you get more involved and get your hands on the ball much more often.” Said the 20-year-old.
He added: “We have a big week ahead of us building towards Irish but we'll keep our heads high and look to keep the momentum going.”
