Two-try Fenton pleased to mark first start with bonus-point victory

Cameron Fenton was thrilled to make his first start for the Scots in the victory over Cardiff Blues yesterday.

The hooker went over the line for two tries and played a key role in what turned out to be a valuable win, and one that the Scots were made to work incredibly hard for.

Fenton has made a number of appearances from the bench, but yesterday was the first time that he featured from the beginning in a Scottish shirt.

“It's great to get a start and hopefully we all stuck our hands up and showed that we are ready to feature regularly.” Said the hooker.

He added: “To get the five points is a huge bonus for us and that makes it three wins in a row which shows we are moving forward week on week.”
