Forwards Coach John Dalziel was delighted with his side after holding on for an impressive 25-24 victory over Cornish Pirates.
The Scots had a 15-3 lead with 20 minutes remaining but the Pirates came back strongly and Scottish required a late Dave Cherry try to make sure of the points. Nicolas De Battista scored in the 79th minute for the visitors to cut the gap to 25-24, but the Scots were able to held on for a valuable victory.
The win means that the Scots have won two of their last three matches as the squad continues to improve as the season goes on.
“We are a developing squad and when we're good we're very good. It's about trying to get more and more togetherness and then we'll be a tough side to beat.” Said Dalziel.
