Director of Rugby Sean Lineen is thrilled to be taking the team up to Edinburgh for a pre-season trip, including a contest against Heriot’s on Tuesday night.

The Scots will travel up to face the Goldenacre side at 19:00 on Tuesday evening, in their second run-out of pre-season after the narrow defeat to Blackheath on Saturday. 

Lineen is excited for what will be a valuable test against the Scottish side. 

“The ideal for the trip is to enhance the Scottish connection. We have 22 new players so it's a good opportunity to get to know each other and also have a good hit out against Heriot's.”

He added: “The players can then sample the delights of the Edinburgh festival before heading back to continue preparing for the new season.”
