It has today been confirmed that Evan Olmstead will join Newcastle Falcons for the 16/17 season.

The Canadian international joined London Scottish in January, and featured seven times in the second-row or at blindside flanker during his time at the Athletic Ground.

Olmstead was a key part of the side that saw their form improve after Christmas, and eventually secure an eighth place finish in the Greene King IPA Championship.
