As the Scots prepare to face Cornish Pirates on Saturday, they travelled to Surrey Sports Park in Guildford to train against Aviva Premiership side Harlequins.
The two clubs have a hugely positive relationship with the dual-registration system seeing players such as Matt Shields, Joe Marchant and Kieran Treadwell all featuring for the Scots this season.
The training included scrums, line-out drills, set-piece attacking and to finish a 15 on 15 match with both sides looking to head in to the weekend in top condition.
Head Coach Peter Richards was pleased with a hugely worthwhile session. “We are very grateful to Harlequins for allowing us down to train with them this afternoon.”
He added: “It is invaluable for our players to face this kind of opposition and we hope that it will stand us in good stead for Saturday's match as we look for our fifth consecutive win.”
