London Scottish are delighted to announce the signing of scrum half Jordi Pasqualin from Newcastle Falcons as they look ahead to the 2013/14 season.

The 23 year old scrum half will bolster the half back options available to Director of Rugby Simon Amor for the new season and joins having made 29 appearances for the Falcons since he joined at the start of the 2011/12 season.

Sheffield-born Pasqualin is a product of the Gloucester Academy and spent three seasons at Kingsholm between 2008 and 2011 before his move to the Falcons. During that period, he spent time at Moseley on loan, helping them to the EDF Energy National Trophy final in 2009 where they defeated Leeds.

In 2011, he was a key player in Gloucester’s LV Cup winning side and played in the final against Newcastle, who he would go on to join that summer. Pasqualin has also been capped at England U20 level and represented his country in the 2009 and 2010 6 Nations.

Pasqualin: “I’m very pleased to be making the move to London Scottish for next season. It’s clear to see that they’re a club on the up and I’m very much looking forward to playing my part. “

The 6ft scrum half was educated at The King’s School in Gloucester and has experience of top flight rugby, having made his Premiership debut for the Cherry and Whites aged 18 against Bristol in November 2008. He has also played European Challenge Cup rugby during his time in Newcastle, where he scored three tries.
