London Scottish have named their side to take on Hong Kong Football Club Rugby in the Deutsche Bank Lion Dragon Challenge Cup at HKFC Stadium tomorrow.
Four debutants are named in the starting XV as Scottish prepare to take the field in Hong Kong tomorrow (6pm local time, 11am GMT).
Wings Mike Doneghan and Pete Homan, fly-half Dan Newton and loosehead prop Jamie Kilbane all make their first appearances in a Scottish shirt as Director of Rugby Simon Amor names a strong side to take on HKFC Rugby.
Newton joins Jamie Stevenson to form a brand new half back pairing, whilst there is a familiar to look to the midfield with Andy Reay partnering Oli Grove at centre. Jim Thompson makes up the back three alongside Homan and Doneghan.
Fellow new signing Lewis Thiede joins Kilbane in the front row, alongside Harry Allen at hooker. Skipper Mark Bright moves into the second row alongside Paul Spivey, with Chevvy Pennycook filling in at No. 8 and Lewis Calder joined by James Kellard on the flank.
Amor himself will provide half back cover from the replacements bench, where there are also two front rowers in Mark Irish and Mungo Strachan. PJ Gidlow, Miles Mantella and David Howells form the other back-line replacements.
