London Scottish start their British & Irish Cup campaign away to Gala this Saturday.
This weekend sees a number of London Scottish players make a return to the side after injury as Director of Rugby Simon Amor fields an experienced team to face Gala.
Simon Amor: “Some players who have played very well for us so far this season have played a lot of rugby and need time to recover. This weekend gives an opportunity for others but it is key we keep improving and progressing our team performance.
It is good to have Mark Irish, PJ Gidlow and Andy Reay making returns to the team, all senior players for us.”
Commenting on other injuries in the squad, Amor said: “Dan Mugford and Aaron Liffchak are hoping to be back fit in the next couple of weeks and available for selection.”
