Two games for London Scottish U16’s mark the only London Scottish side to win this weekend.

The U16's huge squad of 44 players split into two teams to play Richmond (winning 29-15) and Battersea Ironsides (winning 34-24).

It was a good opportunity to blow off the summer cobwebs and give the whole squad some match time.

Coach Jerry Collier said “The summer training has paid off. We started our season well with wins in friendlies against two good sides, our fitness is improving thanks to our new strength and conditioning coach Paul Wilcocks and with our influx of new players over the summer months we are ready now to play our first league game next weekend away at Tabard RFC.”

London Scottish U16s are looking to challenge for promotion into Herts/Middx this season ahead and currently play in Division two in this competitive league.
