Overview
Following promotion to the RFU Championship, ambitious rugby club London Scottish are looking to employ a new Club & Community Development Officer as part of their growing off field team. The exciting post is a key aspect of the clubs strategic plans to return to sustainable top flight rugby. The post will offer the candidate an enviable opportunity to develop a broad and enjoyable range of skills in coaching, sports development and commercial avenues at the highest level. The candidate will also be uniquely poised to be part of a world famous club making its final steps back into the main stream. A successful candidate in the post is likely to be provided with opportunities for quick career progression.
Responsibilities
Driving the growth and overall development of the school and community programme alongside the Commercial Manager. Promoting London Scottish services into new schools. Developing a database and network of local partners. Linking these with the club events, match days and mini & junior sections.
Candidate Specification
Required
An RFU coaching qualification, minimum Level 2 or working towards it
Advantageous
Additional Information
Ideally the successful candidate should be a rugby person and already have a good knowledge and understanding of the game and the operation of club rugby union. They should be keen to develop a career in the sports/leisure industry.
