A London Scottish 2nd XV are due to take on the Army ‘A’ side at the Athletic Ground on Tuesday 8th of February.
London Scottish Head Coach Simon Amor is expecting a tough game against an Army side that recorded a narrow loss to Blackheath last month. However, Amor is confident that the game will be a good work-out for the mix of “quality established London Scottish players, and talented youngsters that are due to represent the club in this prestigious fixture.”
Kick off is at 7.30pm, and entry is free.
Update: As predicted, the match proved to be a tough one for both sides, the Army XV grinding out a 14-11 victory over the London Scottish XV. Full-back Frankie Neale picked up all of Scottish's points, and there were notable performances in attack and defence by Rory Demant and Craig Ratford respectively. The Second XV have a Saturday off this coming weekend, and then travel to Ealing on the 19th of February for their next game.
