London Scottish Kit Manager (Part Time)
Kit Manager
London Scottish is seeking to hire a Kit Manager for the 2024/25 season. This is a paid position (salary to be discussed at interview) and will report to the Director of Operations and Head of Rugby Operations.
This role involves a substantial amount of travel to away games and Saturday commitment throughout the rugby season.
Responsibilities
- Manage players match day, training and leisure kit that will be distributed to players and staff.
- Manage match day changing room and player kit required for match day and warm-ups pre and post-match
- Act as the point of contact with Kings House training facilities with any changes to training schedule and ensure all staff and players are kept informed of any amendments.
- Manage and act as point of contact for referees and match day officials at home matches.
- Transporting matchday kit to and from away fixtures on Fridays and Saturdays which will include a limited number of overnight stays.
- Managing stock on matchday supplies, including nutritional supplements as well as medical and S&C requirements.
- Act as fourth official on matchdays to manage the technical area and oversee substitutions working with the coaching staff.
- Briefing and overseeing ball boys on home matchdays.
Requirements
- Reporting to DOR and Head of Rugby Operations.
- Matchday commitment on weekends for the whole season could be Friday/Saturday/Sunday 30x per season.
- Clean drivers license and confidence to drive team kit van.
- Understanding and interest in professional sport with experience in the field desirable.
