Scrum-half Jamie Stevenson has joined Aviva Premiership outfit Wasps on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old, who had a year remaining on his current London Scottish contract, joins Wasps for an undisclosed fee.
 
Stevenson signed for Scottish in 2011 from Westcombe Park and made a total of 49 first-team appearances.
 
His form this season saw him secure the Players' Player of the Year award at the Club's End of Season dinner last week and he has now earned a move to one of the most ambitious clubs in the Premiership.
 
Stevenson said: “I would like to thank everyone at London Scottish for all they have done for me.
 
“It has been an amazing four years at Scottish where we have gone from a part-time set-up to full-time in a really short space of time.
 
“In my first season we were fighting for our lives at the bottom of the Championship and to be leaving with the Club having finished third is something I'm very proud of.”
 
He added: “The move to Wasps is a great opportunity to test myself against some of the best players in the world and hopefully the exposure of playing in a top league can improve my chances of gaining international recognition.
 
“I wouldn’t be making this step-up to the Premiership without Scottish giving me a platform to play in the Championship and for that reason, I will always be grateful.”
 
London Scottish head coach, Peter Richards, said: “Jamie has been one of our standout performers and to see him get this opportunity to play in the Premiership at a big club such as Wasps is fantastic.
