This weekend sees the Lions take on Reeds Weybridge in their third and final pre-season fixture, which promises to be an exciting contest, with both teams eager to test their squads ahead of the new rugby season. It is an opportunity for the recently promoted Lions to test themselves against another established level 6 team (Reeds finished 7th out of 12 in the Regional 2 South East league last year) and will provide a valuable benchmark for the coaches – as well as an opportunity for them to assess fitness levels, integrate new players, and experiment with different strategies.
