London Scottish coach Peter Richards expects Doncaster Knights to be full of confidence when the sides meet on Friday evening following their stunning win over Bristol last week.
The Knights shock 27-22 victory over Andy Robinson's side ensured them a place in the B&I Cup final and they go into tomorrow evening's game at Richmond Athletic Ground, 7.45pm kick-off, having won four of their last five matches.
Scottish themselves are in fine form having lost just once in seven outings and Richards feels his side can secure another victory which would all but confirm the Exiles a place in the end of season play-offs.
Richards said: “It was probably not a shock to them but a shock to everyone else seeing that result against Bristol.
“They have turned their form around in the second half of the season so will be full of confidence coming here.
“But equally we are full of confidence and enjoy Friday night rugby at the Athletic Ground.
“The boys had a really good victory in Jersey last time out and are keen to get back out again.
“We are going to have to be at our best because Doncaster are a quality outfit with some great operators.”
He continued: “They love a good driving maul and they smashed Bristol on that front last week.
“We are going to have to meet that challenge head on as we did in Jersey when the forwards did a great job.
“Equally behind the scrum they have some good gamebreakers, international quality at half back and dangerous runners across the pitch.
“It will be a good test for our guys.”
London Scottish make just one change from the side which beat Jersey in St Peters with former Scotland Under 18s captain David Cherry replacing hooker James Stephenson.
The game also marks the return to competitive action for Club captain Adam Kwasnicki who takes Stephenson's place on the bench after a spell on the sidelines following a hand injury.
One other change on the bench sees England Students prop Lovejoy Chawatama replace the injured Stewart Maguire.
Richards added: “It's good to have Adam (Kwasnicki) back in the mix. He has been out for six weeks but has trained really well.”
