London Scottish can this evening confirm the signature of hooker Jamie Stephenson on a dual-registration contract from Bristol Rugby.
The youngster will provide competition for Adam Kwasnicki and David Cherry for the remainder of the campaign with current hookers Ross Doneghan and Todd Gleave sidelined due to injury.
London Scottish Director of Rugby, Mike Friday, said: “We are very fortunate to have secured Jamie until the end of the season.
“He is an emerging talent who has already represented England Students and is a player we have been tracking for 12 months now.
“It is good to finally secure him.”
He added: “Jamie is a dynamic player in the loose who is a very capable scrummager and a reliable line-out operator.
“We are looking forward to him competing for a place in the match day 22.”
