Hooker Adam Kwasnicki will make his 100th appearance for London Scottish on Saturday after being named in an unchanged starting XV for the clash against Doncaster Knights at Castle Park, 2.30pm kick-off.
Kwasnicki will lead the side out at the weekend, becoming just the third London Scot to reach the century milestone since the club's Incredible Journey began in 1999.
The 28-year-old follows in the footsteps of former London Scots Colman McCarthy and Matt Johnson.
He said: “It’s a pretty special achievement and I’m very proud of reaching 100 caps.
“In a sport like rugby where there can be so many injuries you can never take anything for granted so to play 100 games for the same club is fantastic.
“I joined London Scottish because it was an ambitious club that wanted to move forward in the right direction that matched my own ambitions and we’ve done that.”
London Scottish backs coach Peter Richards said: “I'm really pleased for Adam.
“He has been a really good servant to London Scottish and in my time here he has been a crucial member of the squad.
“I know the boys have been talking about this being 'his weekend' and they will be putting in an extra special effort to make sure it's a memorable game for him.”
Club President, Rod Lynch, added: “I am delighted for Adam on achieving his 100th appearance for the 1st XV.
“He is a pillar of the Club, both as a front-row ever-present and also as Club Captain.
“Hopefully we can retain his services for many more seasons to come.”
US Eagle Tai Tuisamoa returns from international duty to take his place on the replacements bench on Saturday whilst flanker Chris Walker also makes the bench having recovered from illness as does fit again prop Max Maidment.
