The curtain comes down on what has been another successful season for London Scottish this Saturday, April 26th, 3pm kick-off, when we host Bristol Rugby at Richmond Athletic Ground.
Former Scotland coach Andy Robinson brings his Greene King IPA Championship table-toppers to south-west London looking to build some momentum heading into the end of season play-offs.
London Scottish will finish the season in fifth place, the Club’s highest league placing for 15 years but the players are determined to sign off in style.
There is the prospect of an intriguing battle between the Championship's leading try scorers, Miles Mantella and George Watkins on Saturday.
They will go head-to-head on the wing looking to end the regular season as outright top try scorer.
Hot on their heels is London Scottish skipper Mark Bright, sponsored by Aberdeen Asset Management, who has scored 16 league tries, just one fewer than Mantella and Watkins.
The two sides last met at the Memorial Stadium back in September with Bristol securing victory with the final move of the game.
Since promotion back up to the second tier of English rugby, London Scottish have yet to beat Bristol and Head Coach James Buckland is keen to change that on Saturday.
He said: “Hosting Bristol at the Athletic Ground is a fitting finale to the season and it’s a game we are all looking forward to.
“Training has been great this week and the boys are desperate to give our loyal supporters something to cheer about on Saturday.
“As always, players move on at the end of a season and this will be an opportunity for fans to show their appreciation for a number of players who will say their goodbyes at full-time.”
A large crowd is expected for the game and stand tickets are already sold out.
Clan (ground) tickets can still be bought at the gate on the day, online here, or by calling the ticket office on 020 3397 9551.
