London Scottish forward Alex Karonias has been forced to retire from rugby due to complications arising from a back injury.
Alex joined the Club in 2008 and is one of the Club’s longest serving players having played a major part in Scottish’s climb up the National Leagues.
The final of his 97 appearances for the Club was against London Welsh in a B&I Cup clash last month.
The second-row forward said: “I would like to thank the Club, all the supporters and my family for their support over the last six years.
“London Scottish has been a big part of my life and I will always look back fondly on my time at the Athletic Ground.
“The Club has come a long way in a short period of time and I know Scottish will continue to go from strength to strength.”
