London Scottish is delighted to announce the official signing of Matt Gribbon ahead of the 2025/26 season. Matt joined London Scottish at stages through the 2024/25 season as injury cover whilst he was finishing his studies at Leeds Beckett University. In that time Matt, made five appearances for the Exiles and scored a try in the final match of the season against Coventry.

Matt is a strong runner of the ball and a physical presence in the backline. He is at the beginning of his senior rugby journey, eager to learn but has a lot of potential to become a serious player at Championship level.

Director of Rugby Bryan Redpath has commented on the news when he said “I was incredibly impressed with Matt’s performance, attitude and work rate last season. He came in at a difficult time of the season and really stood up in the side. He earned a lot of respect around the group so it was a no brainer to get him signed up for this season. I can’t wait to see how he gets on.”
