Cairnhill

Cairnhill produce a wide range of steel components, including everything from massive girders and trusses for the Westfield Shopping Centre London, some up to 28 meters long and weighing a whopping 72 tonne each, to providing small steel plates used to repair cracked steelwork and re-open Scotland’s Forth Road Bridge after a three week closure last Christmas.

They have also recently produced huge 6-meter square steel doors for the Dungeness Nuclear power station, large Pipework for Heysham nuclear plant, and complex steelwork for Sellafield. Their recent bridge repair contract in Folkestone Kent shows their diversity in the type of projects they can deliver and also the broad range of locations they work within the UK.

The Watson Towers Group, and Cairnhill Structures employ over 100 people at their factory in the Sun Works Factory in Coatbridge. The group has turnover of over £11m a year and is 230th in Business Insider’s SME300, which lists Scottish headquartered companies that are in profit with a turnover of £8m to £20m.

The Scottish company will appear on the front collarbone of the brand new playing kit, and will also become part of the match day experience at the Athletic Ground.
