As part of the St. Andrew’s Day Book Festival week, Scots in London are holding a rugby event at St. Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, SW1X 0BD on Thursday 27th November 2025 at 7.15pm. In attendance, will be Peter Burns and Rob Robertson, who will talking about and taking questions on their newly released book “This is Murrayfield” (100 years of history in 100 matches).

Also, there will be Ian Smith (8 international caps for Scotland), whose book “A full-back slower than your average prop”, has been critically acclaimed. A dentist by profession, he is now at the age of 81 a TikTok
sensation with over 800,000 followers.

The evening will be hosted by former Scotland International and Sports Broadcaster, Rory Lawson

And for those in business, please note there will be a joint London Scottish / Scottish Business Network gathering at the Beauchamp Restaurant (downstairs bar) 43,44 Beuachamp Place, London SW3 1NX from
5.30pm to 7.00 pm. The purpose of the event is to network with other businesspeople, and to listen to a 15 minute speech from Steve O’Donnell, COO of the Scottish Business Network, who will be sharing his
experience  of being involved with three US IPOs and two trade sales to US technology companies, where he was CEO.

The event will finish at 7pm – so that we can make the three minute walk to St. Columbas Church for 7.15pm to listen to Peter Burns, Rob Robertson and Ian Smith. Interested parties should contact Norrie
