Four London Scottish players called up to England Counties squad

London Scottish players James Brown, Alex Clarke, David Howells and Tom Standfield have been called up to the England Counties squad.

They have been selcted for the annual International fixture against an Ulster Bank Club International team, Ireland on March 18th at Old Belevdere RFC, Dublin. Team Manager Michael Old described the squad as “the best players in England at this level, and selection is recognition of your talent and commitment to their clubs.”   

Congratulations go to all players from everyone at London Scottish.  

This has also mean that the crunch London Scottish fixture away to Barking who currently hold a narrow lead at the top of National League 1 has been moved to May 7th – the final, and potentially title-deciding, fixture of the season.
