Fundraising success for London Scottish Under 17s

23rd October 2013

Whilst London Scottish continued their run of form with a convincing victory over Edinburgh Academicals on Saturday, the Under 17s also continued their great efforts – away from the pitch.

Parents, players and coaches from the U17 age group were out in force at the Athletic Ground on Saturday to help raise funds for their rugby tour to Toulon in 2014.

Simon Sanderon, Head of Junior Rugby, said: “The day was a great success for the entire club.

“We managed to raise a fantastic £697, as well as other foreign objects such as Euros and even a supermarket trolley token!

“London Scottish U17s would like to thank all the parents who made and supplied cakes and to the fantastic crowd on Saturday who bought and enjoyed them.

“The money raised will go towards our junior rugby tour to Toulon in April 2014.”

All at London Scottish would like to wish the U17 age group all the best with their 2014 tour to Toulon.
