It is with great sadness we announce that George Bruce passed away on Wednesday 16th May 2018.
George was born in Edinburgh in 1932 and educated at Leith Academy and Heriot-Watt University.
He came to London in the late 1950’s and spent his career as an Engineer, working for Guinness & United Biscuits. Throughout this time George was an avid London Scottish supporter and club member. He made many friends at the club and travelled the length and breadth of the country supporting “the boys”.
Due to ill health George had been unable to attend matches in recent years, but his support never waned for over 60 years.
A service will be held on Wednesday 30thMay 2018 at 10:40 am at Mortlake Crematorium and afterwards at The Petersham Hotel, Nightingale Lane, Richmond.
