After the successful introduction of girls rugby at London Scottish on the 11th of November, London Scottish are now continuing with a fun rugby session for all girls age 6 to 18 this coming Sunday, the 25th of November.

After the successful introduction of girls rugby at London Scottish on the 11th of November, London Scottish are now continuing with a fun rugby session for all girls age 6 to 18 this coming Sunday, the 25th of November.
Girls throughout the boroughs of Richmond-Upon-Thames and Hounslow have been made aware of the exciting news through schools and friends and will have the opportunity again to see what rugby is all about at a Championship club!
We have coaching by top club and international women players, and Karen Findlay the lead coach of the Scotland women’s rugby team as well as London Scottish Championship players and London Scottish coaches.
The session will consists of skills and skill development games like tag rugby. Tackling technique will only be introduced when players are ready or in a controlled coaching environment so there is nothing to worry about!
As part of the day at Richmond Athletic Ground a small tournament is hosted by London Scottish for all the U/13 girls consisting of games between different teams. A few nearby clubs from the area and some from Berkshire, Hampshire, and other counties are bringing their teams down to join in the fun of the tournament.
This should be a great day for new players interested in playing girls rugby at London Scottish and for those who already play rugby or tag rugby at their schools or at the club.
