After this afternoon’s memorable win over Nottingham Rugby, it is now confirmed that London Scottish will be in the Greene King IPA Championship play-offs for the very first time.
Seven promotions in 11 seasons brought the Scots back up to English rugby's second tier and in the fourth Championship campaign, qualification for the semi-finals has been achieved!
Worcester Warriors and Bristol Rugby are already confirmed as the top two in the table and they face each other on the last day of the regular season which may decide Scottish's semi-final destination.
The Scots cannot be caught in third place.
Scottish were last in a play-off 17 years ago.
They were in England's second tier, then called Premiership Two, and faced Premiership One basement side Bristol.
With the top two promoted from Premiership Two, third placed London Scottish faced Premiership One Bristol to try and gain promotion.
