Gregor Gillanders will return to London Scottish after signing a new contract at the Athletic Ground.
The 29-year-old joins from Blackheath, but before he moved to Well Hall the back-rower was a key part of the squad during the 2014/15 campaign which reached the semi-finals of the Greene King IPA Championship.
He made 26 appearances that year, and will be re-united with Chris Walker who is also re-joining the club.
Gillanders will train on a part-time basis whilst continuing his work in engineering, and in his previous rugby career he has also played for Bedford Blues as well as spending three years with Leicester Tigers where he made his first team debut aged just 19 against Argentina.
The flanker is pleased to be returning to the Athletic Ground for another spell with the Scots.
“I'm very excited to be coming back to Scottish. I have great memories from my time here a couple of years ago, and with my Scottish roots, I'll be pushing as hard as I can to get the best results on and off the pitch for the club.”
He continued: “It’s a great time to be coming back, while there have been some changes, the direction of the club is highly positive and there has been some great signings for the new structure, on both the playing and coaching sides. I'm looking forward to working with guys again who I've played with and against over the last few years, while also getting to know the other members of the squad.”
