London Scottish are delighted to announce the signing of Hooker Jack Wright. This signing marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between London Scottish and the Royal ]Navy, with a number of players set to wear the London Scottish tartan this season.

Jack plies his trade in the front row as a hooker, stepping up to the senior Navy side last season Jack had a breakthrough season. Scoring two tries at Twickenham against the Army and being a stand out performer all year, Jack brings, pace power and strength to his game as he looks to make an impact in the Champ this season.

Tom Blackburn, Navy Director of Rugby has spoken on the news when he said “Jack Wright has been synonymous with individual and team success since pulling on the navy blue shirt. He has been part of the successful U23s and senior men’s interservice campaigns as a hooker. He has enjoyed the challenge of competing for the number 2 shirt against already established and seasoned players. From the blue of the Navy to the blue of Scottish Jack promises plenty.”

London Scottish Head Coach, Joe Gray has also commented on the news when he has said “teaming up with the Navy and bringing a few of their players on board is incredibly exciting for us. Jack is a great talent and I can’t wait to see him flourish in a London Scottish shirt.”
