London Scottish is delighted to announce that back row forward Jake Spurway will remain at the Club for another season having joined the Club ahead of the 2024/25 season. Jake joined London Scottish last year having completed his university studies up in Durham after representing Scotland U20s.

Jake’s season with London Scottish was cut short by an injury in February. However, prior to that point, Jake was a mainstay of the squad making 14 appearances out of 17 games underlining his importance to the squad.

Speaking on the news Jake has said “I’m delighted to be staying on at Scottish for another year. It’s an excellent group who are really building something and taking big steps forward. I have loved being a part of it in my first season here and it’s a privilege be involved again. I’m really looking forward to seeing how far we can take this team next season!”

Head Coach Joe Gray has also commented on his signing when he said “Jake has been such a great signing for us this season, he came in with great energy and has brough at lot to the group. It was sad to see his season cut short by injury but he’s making great progress back to fitness and he’ll be like a brand new player come the start of the new season.”
