We can today confirm that Jason Harries has signed for Edinburgh Rugby after two successful seasons at London Scottish.
The winger made 45 appearances for the Scots after arriving from Carmarthen Quins in 2015, scoring 22 tries in the process at an impressive ratio of almost one every other match.
The 28-year-old was Players’ Player of the Season in 2015/16, voted in to the Greene King IPA Championship Dream Team for his performances throughout the 16/17 campaign as well as topping the Scottish try-scoring charts in the same year.
Harries also featured for Wales Sevens across a three year period, and will be re-united with Ally Miller, Hugh Fraser, Tom Galbraith and Callum Hunter Hill as another London Scot heads to Scotland’s capital.
The Welshman had this to say about his time at Scottish:
“I would like to thank everyone who has been involved with London Scottish over the past two years. It's a great club, I've enjoyed every minute on and off the field and made friends for life.”
We wish Jason all the best as he starts a new challenge in the Guinness Pro 12.
