Last season’s players player of the year Joe Atkinson will return to the Exiles on loan until the end of the season.

The all action flanker left the Club last summer to join Gallagher Premiership side Wasps but will return for the last four games of the season.

Atkinson started his season with Wasps strongly starting matches in the Gallagher Premiership but then struggled to maintain his place in the starting XV. He has made 5 appearances this season and played on multiple occasions for Wasps A-League side.

The former Loughborough student will now return to the RAG to get some much needed game time as the season draws to a close.

Joe made 50 appearances in two seasons for the Scots and scored twelve tries. He will be looking to add to his tally in the Scots’ upcoming matches.

Director of Rugby Dave Morris is thrilled to be able to welcome Joe back to the London Scottish fold on loan.

Atkinson will not be in contention for the game on Saturday with Yorkshire Carnegie. He will join up with the squad next week.
