Jonny Harris will stay at Scottish for his fourth season

Loosehead prop Jonny Harris will stay with the Scots for his fourth season after agreeing terms to a new deal for the 2019/20 season.

Harris who joined the Club from London Irish in 2016 and brought up his 50th appearance for the side this season and has gone on to make 53 appearances in total.

This season Harris has played 14 games for the Scots so far and will look to feature in the remaining games of the season.

A powerful scrummager and a handy player around the field, Scottish will be pleased to have kept Harris for another season.

Now 28, the England age grade player will be hoping for another strong season in 2019/20.

The prop was pleased to be staying with the Scots for his fourth season.

“I am delighted to re-sign with London Scottish. I have really enjoyed my last three years here and I am looking forward to another season. It is a great club which has also given me the opportunity to pursue interests away from the sport alongside the training and playing commitments.”

Director of Rugby Dave Morris was happy to keep Jonny for another season.

“Jonny has been a very reliable and consistent performer over the last few seasons with us. It is good to keep him at the Club and further show how we want to retain a core of the squad from this season. Jonny’s playing ability and experience will be invaluable as we head into next season.”

Jonny becomes the eighth player confirmed for next season along with Lewis Wynne, James Malcolm, Matt Eliet, Josh Barton, Billy Harding, Jordan Brodley and Charlie Ingall.
