London Scottish head coach James Buckland admits there was a real sense of anticipation in the camp this morning as the first team squad returned for day one of pre-season ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
The squad and backroom staff checked into the Athletic Ground for a series of meetings during the morning before a training session in Old Deer Park in the afternoon as temperatures touched a sweltering 25 degrees.
Buckland said: “It’s great to be back and there is already a really good buzz about the ground.
“Our Head of Performance Tim Harper has put a plan in place and we have great faith in him having the players ready come the start of the season.
“We are excited about the squad being put together.
“It’s going to be a tough pre-season and the hard work starts today.”
