Aurum Holdings, the largest prestige and luxury jeweller in the UK whose portfolio includes Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland, and Goldsmiths, announces its partnership deal with the Rugby Union Club, London Scottish FC.

This three year, six figure sponsorship deal sees Watches of Switzerland become an official sponsor of the club. The deal was launched with Watches of Switzerland being title sponsor of the re-arranged St Andrew’s Day Dinner, which took place at the Millennium Copthorne Gloucester Rd, on Thursday 27th January. The specialist Swiss timepiece retailer will also sponsor the annual Player of the Season award, voting for which will begin shortly, via the London Scottish website until the end of the season.

For more than three quarters of a century, Watches of Switzerland has devoted itself to selling and servicing the finest Swiss timepieces. Their luxury collection of watches embraces every leading brand and the range is unrivalled in scope. They pride themselves on offering authoritative advice and a service which goes beyond initial purchase to repairs, valuations and regular maintenance checks by skilled in-house watchmakers.

Commenting on the new partnership, Justin Stead, Aurum Holdings CEO, said:

“This is a very exciting partnership for Watches of Switzerland and we are delighted to become part such a well founded club. We share a common set of values within both our organisations and are excited at the opportunity of strengthening the exposure of the Watches of Switzerland brand.”

Following the announcement of the deal, London Scottish CEO Tony Copsey said “As a Club we are proud to have secured this relationship with such a prestigious company. London Scottish are a Club with a great heritage and one that has a real desire to move forward and continue to build on that history. This link serves to highlight the ambitious and dynamic nature of both businesses, and we are delighted that we'll be able to move forward together.”
